Organic Halogens pose a threat to the environment and mankind. Most substances, which include organic halogens, are toxic, carcinogenic, persistent and bio-accumulative.For this reason regulatory authorities imposes maximum permissible levels of these compounds in soil and water. Microcoulometry is the reference method for the determination of total organic halogen content in AOX, EOX and POX samples.
Round the clock operation
The coulometric analyzer ECS 3000 can be use in combination with a liquids autosampler (74 positions), a solids autosampler (48 positions) and a AOX column autosampler for round the clock operation.The ECS 3000 is a stable and easy to use system and provides low maintenance treatment. Using a dedicated filtation unit the pre-treated sample is automatically combusted at high temperature.
