HiperTOC

The HiPerTOC model High temperature and UV-persulfate TOC analyzer is configured with 2 main oxidation techniques, UV-persulfate and high temperature, combined in one analyzer, saving bench space and investment costs. The high temperature reactor oxidizes the carbon at high temperature at 1000 ºC without usage of a catalyst. The slim designed UV-reactor oxidizes the carbon by UV-light, UV with persulfate, or by the ozone promoted UV-persulfate method.

For a high dynamic range the HiPerTOC will have two NDIR detectors (low and high range), one being 10 times more sensitive than the other, reducing the need for dilution.
The HiPerTOC comes along with a stirrer option for the accurate analysis of samples with particles upto 700 um.

The flexibility of the HiPerTOC is fully supported by the customized HiPerTOC ThEuS software. Samples can be run with different destruction techniques and calibration ranges in one sequence, fully automatic. No user intervention is needed to switch the destruction method or the calibration range. ThEuS lets the user choose the calibration range and destruction technique per sample.
The HiPerTOC complies with the ASTM D4839, ASTM D4779, EPA 415.1, EPA 415.2 and
EN 1484 methods

The HiPerTOC comes standard with:
• Integrated X-Y-Z auto sampler, 65 positions, provided with 2 needles for sparging and sampling
• Four reagent bottles for demi water, acid, persulfate and waste
• ThEuS software with pre-defined TC, TOC, NPOC and TIC methods
• NDIR Detectors: low sensitivity (HIPER0601) and high sensitivity (HIPER0602),
• Destruction reactors; High temperature reactor (HIPER2000) and UV-reactor (HIPER3000)

HIPER4000 Solids option for HiPerTOC, model HiPerTOC SA

The HiPerTOC can be extended with a solids option, model HiPerTOC SA, for the analysis of TOC in solids samples like soil and solid waste. This solids module option operates in conjunction with the HiPerTOC and consists of a manual boat sample introduction system, a high temperature furnace (1000 oC) and IC scrubber for determination of Inorganic Carbon. After the combustion stage the formed CO2 is led through the NDIR detectors of HiPerTOC model and shows through ThEuS based software the respective TOC concentration.

HIPER5000 Total Nitrogen (CLD) option for HiPerTOC

The HiPerTOC can be extended with a so called TN option for the analysis of Total Nitrogen content in water samples by chemiluminescence (CLD) detection. This TN CLD option operates in conjunction with the HiPerTOC in High temp mode and makes use of a catalyst which operates at 800oC.
