The STARDist from Orbis BV boasts high performance with its incredibly fast heating and cooling, high reproducibility from its Pre-Scan function, and high accuracy thanks to its ability to find the Optical Dry Point.

Cloud Point, Pour Point, Cold Filter Plugging Point - all-in-one analyser
The AirSTAR from Orbis BV is an innovator in cold properties testing of petrochemical products such as diesel. The AirSTAR has two configurations - one for pour point and cloud point, and one for cold filter plugging point. This is more economical if not all tests are required.
This versatile product is ideal for laboratories performing ASTM D97, D2500 and D6371. In the CP/PP head, a HD camera accurately determines the pour point and cloud point equal to or better than the human eye. In the CFPP head, a vacuum pump and light barrier are utilised to pull the sample through a filter, and determine at which point that the sample takes longer than 60 seconds to pass through the filter again.
The AirSTAR is controlled by an Apple iPad using the official Orbis app, iLab. Apple products are famously robust and the touch screen interface adds ease and simplicity.

STARDist Micro
Fast & Accurate Distillation in direct correlation with ASTM D86, ISO 3405 and IP123
The STARDist micro from Orbis BV allows for a faster analysis (approximately 10 minutes), compared to the usual 35 minutes of a D86 test. This is due to the smaller sample size, whilst maintaining the precision and accuracy of a full-size STARDist.
This 'micro distillation' method is approved in the fuel specifications for gasoline (D4814), diesel (D975), and jet fuel (D1655). Also included is ultra fast optical flame detection and fire extinguishing capabilities.
